 Hey 7 Eleven on Ventura and Vineland. Here is your review. You suck. I hate you. A Big Gulp refill REALLY is .99 cents. I'm not trying to con you out of .40 cents. A Big Gulp IS $1.39. What the heck would be the point of me carrying around this stupid cup if it cost the same to get a brand new shiny, cup? I'm medicating some serious depression with Diet Coke and that vanilla button and you made my day that much darker.

BUT sweet, sweet wonderful 7 Eleven just two blocks down on Ventura and Tujunga. YOU are my 7 Eleven for life. You rung it up without batting and eye and even the diet coke itself seem to have a little more zip. The world IS a wonderful place. Sometimes you just have to move a few blocks over to see it.

Loser! Mega Loser!

I had a great time at performing at You Didn't F***king Pay for This Comedy Show in Santa Monica last night. Thanks to Steve Benaquist and Jason Boggs for booking me on the show.

But this post is not about my winning. It's about my losing. Exhibit A - (left) provides even more recent evidence that my moving out West to seek easy money and fortune is not happening.

Falling Off the Diet Wagon

Don't get alarmed, but I've fallen off the diet wagon. When my budget gets tight and my moods swing low, I find my balance on the diet wagon gets a little precarious. I wait until payday or until I feel way too bloated and hop back on.

How do you handle that kind of stuff?

Why do I have this, and where did it come from?

I just found an unopened deck of cards featuring the cityscape of Portland Oregon. In the corner it says, "City of Roses."

I always thought that was Pasadena. Shows what I know.

Annoying Person #1

The manager of my building keeps trying to suck me into his pyramid scheme telecom cult.

Annoying Person #2

I volunteer at night, and as a courtesy we allow police officers to come by our facility. This one cop spends an entire FOUR-hour shift here. Picture the character Cliff Clabin from Cheers, but take away the honorable dedication to his government job and insert a gun. Argh.

The Episode of Indestructable Man - Shot in My Apartment

Here it is the latest episode of Indestructable Man starring Brett Gilbert, Jonathon Lipow with appearances by Rosie Tran and Me. (Yes, that's how the character name is spelled.)



P.S. My face always looks way more fat on video--especially in profile. Argh. Mental note: Work on loving that double chin or find some sort of crunches for it.

Frys Should Have a Counseling Kiosk

I went to Frys to buy a new printer and an external hard drive. No matter how full or empty Frys is, I always find it completely overwhelming. I think that's their strategy. Overwhelm you and while you're on shaky ground lure you into overspending with mail-in warranty rebates you may or may not send. I only go there every four years--like the Olympics and presidential elections. It's traumatizing.
